Joseph graduated magna cum laude from La Salle University, with General University Honors, in 1992. He received both a University Scholarship and Campbell Soup Company Scholarship. He attended Villanova University School of Law, graduating in 1995. Joe has served as staff member at Villanova and, later, as Symposium Editor of the Villanova Sports and Entertainment Law Forum (now Journal).
His practice experience runs the gamut of corporate and consumer bankruptcy matters, large and small.
During his ten years as a Trial Attorney with the Office of the United States Trustee for Region Three (Wilmington, Delaware), Joe was assigned to several large corporate bankruptcy filings (most notably Washington Mutual and Tribune Company). Joe has also served as the Wilmington office’s liaison with the Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Delaware, a role in which he testified in support of certain criminal matters.
Prior to becoming an attorney, he served as President of the La Salle Forum, La Salle College High School’s forensics (speech and debate) team, and later served as its cross-examination debate coach. Joe’s prior service experience includes terms on the Pastoral Council of Saint Rose of Lima Church in North Wales, Pennsylvania and the Alumni Board of La Salle College High School
Outside of the office, Joe keeps up with a variety of interests, in addition to his two children. He is an avid college basketball fan, having been weaned on Palestra “tripleheaders” in the late 70s and early 80s. He still plays in “pick-up” games locally.
